Then it brightened to magnitude 12.3. The brightening from the low state took approximately 27 days (0.07 mag/day). I have observed it for three years and its brightness has not changed until 1994 June,it remaining at magnitude 12.5. The variations began in June 1994,when it suddenly faded by 1.5 mags. The low state took approximately two months as well, but it was very unstable. The brightening from the low state has taken approx. 50 days and its brightness has already reached magnitude 11.3 (0.038 magn./day)." Editor: The variable is in the field of EM Cyg and the AAVSO chart for that variable may be used. The GCVS has: RA 19h37m09s DEC +30 21.9'[1950]. LB 12.9-13.9p CH CYGNI Jochen Pietz, Germany e-mails that he has observed a fade of this eruptive binocular variable: 1994 Oct 2.8, 7.5; 4.8, 7.7; 6.8, 8.3; 10.7, 8.4, 11.8, 8.3 FINDERS The latest version of FINDVGA.EXE is now available (V3.38) which incorporates some corrections to permit print outs of charts on HP LaserJets. 132 pre-stored charts now accompany the software. The cost is #15.00 or #4.00 for an upgrade from an earlier version. Guy M Hurst
