This star, which is on the Recurrent Objects Programme of the UK Nova/Supernova Patrol, does not have a reliable chart and therefore images obtained would be particularly valuable. Jan Manek provides the following precise position: RA 19h 59m 52.96s DEC +39 13'59.8"(2000) The star was found by W.Baade and listed as 101.1928 in AN 249, 269 (1933) with a position of: RA 19h56m21s DEC +38 57.4'(1900). Baade quoted the range as 14.4-[16.5p. It is believed this is the first time this star has been monitored in outburst as previous data was retrieved from old photographic plates. Lasse Jensen, Denmark, has confirmed the brightening on Aug 21.849UT when he recorded it at magnitude 15.7 using the 0.25-m Schmidt-Cassegrain and ST6 SBIG CCD with no filter. The Editor would welcome further magnitude estimates and images to enable a reliable chart to be prepared. Guy M Hurst
