The following magnitudes have been derived: June 27.932, 18.4, 28.947, 18.4, and July 13.001, 18.1. The object is located at: RA 15h 08m 20.65s DEC +21 52'35.3" (2000), 10.7"W and 10.1"S of the centre of its host galaxy. SN 2004df is not present on Tom's images from 2004 Mar 20 and May 18 with a limiting magnitude of 19.5. It is also absent from the Digitised Sky Survey plates (red, 1993 Mar. 21; blue, 1986 Apr. 8). The supernova has been designated SN 2004df and announced on IAUC 8374. Congratulations to Tom on the discovery of his 68th supernova.
