Five 40-s confirming unfiltered CCD frames taken on Dec. 23.537 (limiting magnitude 19.4) give mag 16.7 for the object, which is located at: RA 0h 40m 19.40s DEC +41 15' 47.6" (2000), which is 1634" west and 21" south of the centre of the galaxy Messier 31. Nothing is visible at this position on frames of Dec. 16.486 (limiting mag 19.7) and 21.466 (limiting mag 19.8).
