The sighting was from Hutt Valley, New Zealand from atop Hutt Valley summit ridge: 2013 August 10.75UT, Mv 9.0 (15x90B), coma diameter 2', DC 6. The comet was located about 4 degrees above Procyon, and at ~ 15 deg alt in East. Fuller details will appear in the September TA. The Minor Planet Centre has a predicted m1 value of 12.4 with a solar elongation of about 30 degrees.
